Palazzo Lanza Tomasi<\/a> \u00e8 attivamente impegnato nella ricerca della massima sostenibilit\u00e0<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Cerchiamo di ridurre il pi\u00f9 possibile l\u2019uso della plastica<\/strong>, sostituendola con acciaio, vetro, legno o prodotti naturali. Per contrastare il devastante impatto ambientale provocato dai set di cortesia per i bagni<\/strong>, abbiamo adottato un innovativo sistema ideato da Antidot, una compagnia maltese di prodotti naturali che ci fornisce dispenser in acciaio inossidabile per i bagni dei nostri Butera 28 Apartments<\/a>. Lo shampoo, il bagnoschiuma e il sapone forniti da Antidot sono in polvere e vengono realizzati da noi stessi miscelando le polveri con acqua. Le polveri sono contenute in sacchetti di carta biodegradabili, una forma di packaging totalmente sostenibile che contribuisce tra l\u2019altro a ridurre l\u2019impronta ecologica. Questi prodotti sono biologici, vegani e privi di ogni ingrediente chimico.<\/p>\n Per la pulizia dell\u2019intero palazzo e degli appartamenti utilizziamo soltanto detersivi di alta qualit\u00e0, il pi\u00f9 possibile biodegradabili e a basso impatto ambientale<\/strong>, e privilegiamo le pulizie con il vapore che, oltre a non inquinare, garantisce la massima igienizzazione degli ambienti.<\/p>\n In ottemperanza alle norme europee, tutti i materassi dei nostri appartamenti sono ignifughi, antibatterici e anti bed bug, e vengono regolarmente igienizzati. I cuscini sono anallergici e antibatterici<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Tutte le finestre del palazzo sono in vetrocamera<\/strong>, che offre un ottimo isolamento termico e acustico, contribuendo all\u2019efficienza energetica dell\u2019edificio e al confort degli ospiti.<\/p>\n La nostra ricerca della sostenibilit\u00e0 investe anche la manutenzione della nostra terrazza che cerchiamo di rendere il pi\u00f9 possibile un\u2019oasi di biodiversit\u00e0<\/strong>. We also favour cleaning with steam<\/strong> which, which is not polluting and fragrance free, and guarantees maximum sanitisation of surfaces and the environment. Our goal is to minimise our carbon foot print<\/strong> and do our utmost to keep our environment as clean and eco-friendly as possible.<\/p> We try to reduce the use of plastic as much as possible<\/strong>, replacing it with steel, glass, wood or natural products.<\/p> We have abolished the use of PET bottles<\/strong> of mineral water and only use micro-filtered drinking water in sterilisable and reusable glass bottles.<\/p> To counteract the devastating environmental impact caused by bathroom courtesy sets<\/strong>, we have adopted an innovative system designed by Antidot<\/strong>, a Maltese company of natural products that supplies us with stainless steel dispensers for the bathrooms of our Butera 28 Apartments. The shampoo, shower gel and soap provided by Antidot are in powder form and are made by ourselves by mixing the powders with water. The powders are contained in biodegradable paper bags, a form of totally sustainable packaging that also contributes to reducing the carbonl foot print. These products are organic, vegan and free of any chemical ingredients.<\/p> In compliance with European standards, all mattresses in our apartments are fireproof, antibacterial and anti-bed bug, and are regularly sanitised. All the pillows are hypoallergenic and antibacterial<\/strong>.<\/p> All the windows in the building are double-glazed<\/strong>, which offers excellent thermal and acoustic insulation, contributing to the energy efficiency of the building and the comfort of our guests.<\/p> Our search for sustainability also involves the maintenance of our terrace, which we try to make as much of an oasis of biodiversity as possible<\/strong>. We make our own compost<\/strong> and do not use chemical pesticides. We use Neem oil as an anti-parasitic and against aphids and cochineal we create sprays based on water and Marseille soap or chopped garlic cloves.<\/p> We are investing in the energy requalification of our building<\/strong>, to preserve its historicity and at the same time reduce its environmental impact. Quest\u2019anno sostituiremo i generatori a combustione con pompe di calore ad alta efficienza, rinnoveremo e automatizzeremo gli impianti elettrici e speciali, e installeremo un impianto fotovoltaico da 40kWp. This year we will replace combustion generators with high-efficiency heat pumps, renovate and automate electrical and special systems, and install a 40kWp photovoltaic system.
